About Attorney Scott T. Roby

Scott T. Roby Law Office P.S.C. was established in 2000, and has been helping those in Kentucky and Indiana through the often confusing legal system since the turn of the century. I am attorney Scott T. Roby, and my goal is to make little problems disappear while disallowing major problems from ruining my clients' lives.

Born And Raised In The Bluegrass State

I was born in Louisville and have lived my whole life in the great Bluegrass State. Even as early as high school, I was forming connections in our great community. At Trinity High School, I was chosen to be student body president, won the Senior Leadership Award and was chosen as Mr. Trinity by my classmates.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Kentucky, I returned home to attend law school at the University of Louisville. I made the dean's list in law school while serving on the Moot Court Board and clerking for three years under Mike Conliffe at the Jefferson County Prosecutor's Office. I am currently honored to be serving on the University of Louisville Law School Alumni Council as its youngest member.

Prior to starting my own firm, I had worked as a county prosecutor, an associate for a small personal injury law firm and a state prosecutor in the narcotics division. This gave me incredible hands-on experience in personal injury and criminal law. Spending so much time in the courtroom often gives me get an edge on the competition during litigation. This has led to me earning recognition from the legal community, including being selected to Super Lawyers in 2017 as well as Louisville Magazine's Top Lawyers in 2012 and 2013.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as watching and playing sports. I was a former NFL sports agent, which was a lot of fun — and today I coach various youth teams in our community, including YMCA football, kids soccer, tee ball and basketball.
